MPSC Age Limit :- 18 TO 33 Years

Qualification

  • Applying candidates should have completed their 10th/12th/Degree (graduation)/Post Graduation, etc as per various posts or jobs or vacancies with good academic records in concerned discipline from well recognized University / Institute.
  • Willing candidates must have good typing speed in Marathi, English and others (if necessary).

Age relaxation

  • OBC :- 3 years
  • SC/ST :- 5 years
  • WIDOW/DIVORCED WOMEN :- 9 years
  • EX SERVICEMEN :- 5 years
  • PERSON WITH DISABILITY :- 10 Years

MPSC Preliminary Exam Pattern:

In paper I: It is of 100 questions. Each question carries two marks hence total paper is of 200 marks. There is negative marking system. For every wrong answer, 2/3 marks are deducted. That means 0.66 marks get the minus for each wrong answer.

In Paper II: It is of 80 questions. Each question carries two and a half marks hence total paper is of 200 marks. There is negative marking system. For every wrong answer, 2.5/3 marks of that question are deducted. That means 0.83 marks get the minus for each wrong answer.

MPSC Mains Exam Pattern

  • GS Paper 1, GS Paper 2, GS Paper 3 and GS Paper 4 are of the Objective type and it contains 150 Marks for each Paper.
  • Compulsory Marathi and Compulsory English are of the descriptive type which contains 100 Marks for each Paper.
  • Total marks for both the papers are 800 Marks.
  • There is a negative marking. Each paper has 150 questions and carries one mark for each question. There is negative marking of 1/3 of the marks. For three wrong answers, one mark is deducted.
